The Man Utd team news and injury latest to face Aston Villa in the Premier League this weekend.
Manchester United have ruled three players out of their upcoming clash with Aston Villa in the Premier League.
Michael Carrick's side are back in action when they welcome Villa to Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon and know a victory could be crucial in their bid for Champions League qualification. United sit third in the Premier League table ahead of the weekend, level on points with Villa and three ahead of both Chelsea and Liverpool.
United will look to bounce back from their first defeat under Carrick when they take on Villa, but will have to do so without three senior players. Lisandro Martinez, Matthijs De Ligt and Patrick Dorgu are all set to miss the game, though Mason Mount could be in contention after he recently returned to training.

Manchester United team news vs Aston Villa
Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of Manchester United's clash with Aston Villa in the Premier League, Michael Carrick was asked how he found the lengthy break between fixtures.
"It has been good," the United head coach told reporters. "It was disappointing the way the game ended (vs Newcastle), we have digested that and looked at it and learned from it, trained really well this week. The boys are itching to get going."
When he was pushed for team news, Carrick confirmed Mason Mount was in contention to feature on Sunday afternoon, though he admitted that he did not expect any other players to be back. The 27-year-old has missed the last six matches after he sustained a training injury before the dramatic win over Fulham last month.
He added: "Mason's back with the group, which is fantastic. He is an important player for us, Mason. To have him back involved is a good step for us. He is not 100%, because he has only trained a small amount of time, but he is back. That is good for us. We will see if he is involved or not on Sunday. It is a big step for him and we are happy with that. That is it in terms of players coming back for now."
United are also expected to have Noussair Mazraoui available for selection after he suffered a knock in the defeat to Newcastle last week. The Moroccan defender returned to training this week and is expected to be involved when they welcome Aston Villa this weekend.
