Vlahovic’s Juventus return postponed

Vlahovic has been out of action since the end of November after suffering an injury to his adductor in a 2-1 Serie A win against Cagliari. He has since had surgery and has spent the last three months rehabilitating, missing out on the last 15 league matches, plus two in the Coppa Italia and five in the Champions League in the process.

In positive news for the Old Lady, Vlahovic was spotted back in training at the beginning of the week, and on Wednesday, it was confirmed that he had completed his first full session with the team in months, which had put him in contention to feature in Serie A this weekend.

However, according to the latest updates from La Gazzetta dello Sport, the centre-forward is still not quite at 100% and will therefore not be rushed back into action.

Friday’s report indicates that he will not be part of the Juventus squad to face Udinese at 19.45 on Saturday evening.
