Alisha Lehmann is perhaps the most well-known female footballer on the planet and with her significant fame has come huge financial offers. The 27-year-old, who currently plays for Leicester City, has represented the likes of Aston Villa and Juventus during her career.
Lehmann, who is also a full Switzerland international, has previously been very outspoken about the difference in pay between men and women footballers. Speaking while she was still with Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz, she said:
"After training, I often tell Douglas that it's unfair. We do the same job, but he earns a hundred thousand times more than me," she told La Repubblica. She then added:
"The Women's World Cup was probably the fifth most-watched sporting event in the world. Crazy, it was followed more than the Super Bowl. So, if you think about it, it's obvious that we have to have the same pay, at least nationally."

During her three-year spell at Aston Villa (2021-2024), Lehmann was reported to have earned up to £200,000-per-year. That's just a fraction of what the top male players earn in a week.
A significant amount of her income comes from outside ventures, with each sponsored Instagram post raking in around £245,000. However, she was also offered a package of just over £83,000 to sign up to adult website 'My.Club' and post 'thirst traps'.

The footage of Juventus Women's title-winning celebrations has not gone down well with football fans.
Roughly £42,000 was offered to Lehmann as a signing-on bonus, with the rest of the money to be pledged to the Swiss women’s top flight. Vice President of the company, Mike Ford, penned an open letter to the Women's Super League star, saying (per Daily Star):
"Given your growing legion of fans, which will only increase as the World Cup approaches this summer, My.Club would like to extend an offer to you to create an account and join the site.
"It totally makes sense at this level of popularity to launch your ‘own club’. You can post training photos, thirst traps and personally field questions from fans and not have to deal with people sliding in your DMs 24/7."
Lehmann Turned Down 'Very, Very Well Known' Celebrity

While she stopped short of naming the individual in question, Lehmann previously revealed that a 'well-known' celebrity offered her a huge sum of money to have a one-night stand with her. The money on offer was around 25 times as much as she earned weekly at Villa Park.

Aston Villa star Alisha Lehmann has expressed frustration at those who only know her because of her Instagram following, rather than her football prowess.
Speaking in an interview with podcaster and rap star Shirin David, Lehmann claimed her minder received a text from the media figure in question during her holiday in Miami. Apparently, the offer was almost £100,000, as she revealed (per The Mirror):
"[It said] 'I'll pay Alisha 100,000 Swiss Francs (£90,121) for a night with her'.
"Of course, I didn't answer, it was crazy. The message was from someone very well known. We've met before, but not in person. We were at the same event."
"I can't reveal that. But he is very, very well known internationally," was her answer when asked to reveal the identity of the famous celebrity. Lehmann turned down that offer, along with the adult website.
