Man Utd secured an important 3-1 win over Aston Villa in the Premier League in the hunt for Champions League football.
The club captain set up goals for both Casemiro and Matheus Cunha, while Benjamin Sesko netted another from the bench to secure a crucial three points in the hunt for Champions League qualification. United sit third in the Premier League table, three points ahead of Villa with just eight matches left of the campaign.
It was the ideal response from Michael Carrick's side after they had lost away to Newcastle earlier in the month. United travel to face Bournemouth in their final match before the March international break and then face a lengthy wait until they welcome Leeds to Old Trafford early next month.

Fernandes makes surprise admission
It was another day to remember for Bruno Fernandes as the Manchester United club captain made history in their victory over Aston Villa.
With a further two assists to his name, the Portugal international is only the third player in United's history to reach 100 goals and 100 assists for the club, alongside Ryan Giggs and Wayne Rooney. The achievement also saw Fernandes set the record for the most assists in a Premier League season (16), beating the previous tally set by David Beckham.
Speaking after the win, Fernandes reflected on a crucial three points but admitted he thought his side could still do 'much better' than they did against Villa. "It was very important because it was against a direct opponent, we had the same points, to gain this advantage from them is always good," he told Sky Sports. "We knew we needed to win the game after the last game. Today we did the job. I still think we can do much better but the job is done."
When quizzed on his record 16 assists in a Premier League season, he added: "I'm more proud and pleased because I did it serving my team-mates. Giving joy to the others is also very good. When you play in the position I play, I'm very happy I can help them to score and be happy in that moment. It's a huge achievement for me but the main achievement would be in the top spot at the end of the season."
