Jack Grealish couldn’t help but praise Bruno Fernandes following his five-star showing against Aston Villa.
The on-loan Manchester City man took to Instagram to laud Fernandes, sharing a snap of himself watching the game along with the caption: “Bruno is [an] unbelievable footballer man.”
He’s not wrong, either.
The Red Devils skipper’s two assists today meant that he overtook club legend David Beckham (15) for the most assists in a single campaign by taking his tally to 16 for the term. With eight games remaining, it means there’s plenty of time for Fernandes to gain even more distance and set a new hard-to-beat record himself.
