AC Milan and Juventus have both been offered the chance to sign Casemiro on a free transfer, with his Manchester United exit looming.
Since joining Manchester United in August 2022, Casemiro has made 153 appearances and scored 23 goals across all competitions for the Premier League giants. However, a crossroads is approaching because his deal expires in four months.
A future in Serie A?
According to journalist Mirko Di Natale – a Juventus journalist who covers them for various outlets – it has already been decided that Casemiro will leave Manchester United on a free transfer at the end of the season.
The Brazilian has been offered to Milan and also to Juventus in recent weeks, he adds. It is uncertain though whether either club are keen on pursuing things further, especially with factors to consider such as his big currently salary.
It was claimed earlier in the month by Carlo Pellegatti that Casemiro would like to reunite with Luka Modric, who joined Milan in the summer on a free from Real Madrid. The pair were together for years with Los Blancos, and the coup could bring some added experience to the midfield.
However, Matteo Moretto went on record around the same time with his belief that Milan are looking at different profiles to complete the midfield.
