Bruno Fernandes surpassed the legendary Sir David Beckham for the most assists a Manchester United player has produced in a single season.
In Manchester United’s 3-1 win over Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon, Bruno Fernandes provided the assist for Casemiro and Matheus Cunha’s goals.
Fernandes’ assist tally for the 2025/26 season is now up to 16 in the Premier League, meaning he has surpassed David Beckham’s record in a single season, previously set at 15 from the 1999/00 season.
