Manchester United are desperate for a midfield overhaul this summer to ensure that their squad isn't left behind, and it's clear that they have made it a priority to do so.
The club have been surveying targets for the best part of a year, with a number of names from the Premier League seen to be the top targets, including the likes of Nottingham Forest star Elliot Anderson, Crystal Palace maestro Adam Wharton, Brighton's Carlos Baleba, and even Newcastle star Sandro Tonali.
Premier League experience is expected to play a big part in any decision that the club makes about who to bring in. But any of those deals will be incredibly expensive, owing to the cash that is available within the league. But there is an option available for a fraction of the price, who would arguably fit in even better.
Man Utd Should Push for Eduardo Camavinga

With Casemiro departing at the end of his contract, a new central midfielder with experience at the highest level is necessary. There will also be chances for Manuel Ugarte to move on, meaning the club will need more than one new arrival, and the money available must be used properly to ensure all targets are brought in.
But while breaking the club-record for a transfer is possible on a midfielder, club bosses should be looking for the best value for money too, and that's where Real Madrid star Eduardo Camavinga should come into the thinking.
The France international, dubbed as 'world-class', was a target at Old Trafford way back in 2021, but the then-teenager opted to move to the Bernabeu instead in a deal worth around £35m. Since then, he has gone on to make 212 appearances for the club, winning two La Liga titles and two Champions Leagues among other trophies.
But reports in Spain have now emerged that the Spanish giants would be open to allowing Camavinga to leave this summer for around €50m (£43.1m). Despite his vast experience, the talented midfielder is only 23 years old and clearly has the best years of his career ahead of him.
Brilliant technically and with great physicality, Camavinga's profile would be perfect to slot into midfield alongside Kobbie Mainoo and Bruno Fernandes, and at that cut-price fee, it would still allow the club to spend a decent amount on a secondary midfield to provide depth and competition.

United know they need two midfielders at least this summer, and a deal for a player of Camavinga's quality should be seen as a no-brainer at that price, considering the cost of some other options on the market.
He is likely to be part of the France midfield options at this summer's World Cup, and good performances may see the price rise and other clubs come into the mix. INEOS would be smart to move quickly and early to wrap up a deal up before then.
Camavinga would be the perfect addition to the midfield, and he's arguably the best option for the lowest price.
