Report: Nottingham Forest battle West Ham for seven-goal striker

Juventus are keen to cash in on Jonathan David, with Nottingham Forest and West Ham thought to be interested in signing him.

The Canadian talisman was pursued by Forest in January, but Lorenzo Lucca proved to be the striker signed by the Reds instead.

What advice would you give Vitor Pereira to arrest Forest’s home slump?

David is going to be for sale in the summer, it seems, with Forest and West Ham fighting it out to sign the player should they remain in the Premier League.

Forest aren’t going to be giving up on their relegation fight just yet, and the hope will be that the team can beat Tottenham on Sunday and take a giant leap towards another Premier League campaign.

Forest still want Jonathan David

According to Tuttosport, Juventus are keen to cash in on David, and a move to the Premier League feels quite likely.

Forest and West Ham remain keen on the striker, with Tottenham also showing previous interest in the player.

David signed for Juve on a free transfer, but he’s only managed seven goals during the 2025/26 campaign, with the Old Lady now looking into moving him on.

MORE FOREST STORIES

Juve will look for some new signings in the summer, and if they can sell David, it would be straight profit, given that no transfer fee was paid to land him.

Given how badly Forest have struggled for goals this season, a striker needs to be the order of the day for the Reds in the summer, and the hope will be it’s ahead of another Premier League season.

Chris Wood is now 34, and ultimately, Igor Jesus has proved that he’s not capable of scoring goals regularly in the top-flight.
