Mauricio Pochettino and the USMNT have announced the official USMNT roster for friendly matches against Belgium and Portugal in March.
Notable names like Christian Pulisic and Weston McKennie are included in the list, but a key player like Tyler Adams is not. Adams is viewed as one of the team captains of the national team, and the midfielder will not play against Belgium or Portugal in two weeks.
Adams is currently injured and last played a few weeks ago for Bournemouth against Brentford in the Premier League, where he started and played the full match.

Adams suffered an injury during a Bournemouth training session, which led to him missing out Bourneouth's previous Premier League match against Burnley over the weekend.
The Bournemouth staff did not want to risk the player, and that could have led Pochettino to decide not to call him up to avoid any serious injury. Adams is expected to be out of action for two to three weeks.
USMNT Midfielders for March Friendlies
The USMNT roster for March includes midfielders from the MLS and players who play in Europe. Here are the following midfielders for the friendly matches against Belgium and Portugal.
Sebastian Berhalter (Vancouver Whitecaps)
Johnny Cardoso (Atletico Madrid)
Weston McKennie (Juventus)
Aidan Morris (Middlesbrough)
Gio Reyna (Borussia Mönchengladbach)
Cristian Roldan (Seattle Sounders)
Tanner Tessmann (Lyon)
Malik Tillman (Bayer Leverkusen)
The USMNT will be missing a crucial player in Tyler Adams for the matches against Belgium and Portugal, but will see the return of Weston McKennie in the midfield, along with players like Johnny Cardoso, who has been given minutes at Atletico Madrid.
