Chelsea 0-1 PSG (2-6 agg)

It's decent stuff from Jorrell Hato to burst through the middle and pick out Enzo Fernandez, who wins the first corner.

It's sent into the mixer but PSG eventually win a free-kick.

Viktor Gyokeres looks to chase on to a ball forwards, but there is too much on the pass and it skips through to goalkeeper Janis Blaswich.

The Gunners dominating the ball so far.

Forward runs from deep, Rejinders has already made one, this time it's Rodri. It's so hard to defend inside the area.

It's a good touch and effort but the angle was against him.

It's another defensive calamity for Chelsea and this time it's Mamadou Sarr. He's far too interested in stopping Khvicha Kvaratskhelia than the ball but he manages neither.

The Georgian slots beyond Robert Sanchez with ease.

It has been a breathtaking start to this game and Manchester City have had three decent chances in the opening five minutes.

Can they somehow squeeze one in and drag themselves back into this tie?

Bodo/Glimt are looking for a spark here and they will need to find it quickly.

Moments after that chance for Federico Valverde, Rayan Cherki is denied by Thibaut Courtois, who then does so well to produce a one-handed save to deny Rodri.

It should be 2-1 to City inside five minutes!

Anthony Barry and Thomas Tuchel

England manager Thomas Tuchel is watching both of his former clubs at Stamford Bridge. I wonder who he is supporting having left both sides in less than favourable circumstances? He is sat alongside his long-time assistant, he discovered working at Chelsea, Anthony Barry.

I don't think anyone expects PSG not to progress tonight but it would be really interesting to see what will unfold if Chelsea score an early goal.

The atmosphere is crackling, by the way.

The hat-trick hero in the first leg, Federico Valverde fluffs his lines in the opening 55 seconds here and misses the chance to kill the tie.

Will it come back to haunt Real?

A huge chance for Real Madrid inside the opening minute.

And it falls to first leg hat-trick hero Federico Valverde after a clever run. but he gets it all wrong with his attempted lob over Gianluigi Donnarumma.

I think this evening will be very difficult for Arsenal. They had a bit of the shock to the system in Leverkusen on how well they move the ball. It's a wake-up call for them. Now to be playing at home, they know they'll have to do their best and come out fighting.

Arsenal send the kick-off back to David Raya and he launches it forwards. It falls for Viktor Gyokeres, close to the right touchline, and he instantly looks to play the ball into the middle, but it is too close to away keeper Janis Blaswich.

Meanwhile, in Lisbon, Bodo/Glimt's remarkable run into the Champions League last 16 is about to come to an end.

That is unless the club from Norway can find a reply to a brilliant Sporting performance in the next 15 minutes.

In the absence of captain Reece James, Chelsea are still doing their famous huddle around the centre circle.

There's no referee in the middle this time, though.

Behdad Eghbali and Todd Boehly

Chelsea owners Behdad Eghbali and Todd Boehly have been spotted together in the directors’ box.

This would be an unremarkable scene at most clubs, but chairman Boehly has been a less regular presence at matches in recent months, with Eghbali taking a more hands‑on role in day‑to‑day operations over the past couple of years.

It appears, at least, to signal a partial thaw in the ownership tensions that previously flared between Eghbali’s Clearlake camp and Boehly and his minority‑stake associates.

But the visitors have barely threatened the Portuguese side all evening.

They will need to find a gear or two to keep their Champions League campaign alive.

Eberechi Eze of Arsenal controls the ballImage source, Getty Images

This is another start for Eberechi Eze in a big game for Arsenal.

The England international has started five of the last six games for the Gunners.

A big part of that is down to the fact that captain Martin Odegaard is out injured but Eze is historically good at this time of the season.

He brings something different to the Arsenal attack and he could produce a magic moment if he gets the chance.

Manchester City have switched the pre-match music off 10 minutes before kick-off to allow the atmosphere to build.

Chants of "City, City" ring around the Etihad.

A goal for the hosts in the opening 15 minutes and it will be GAME ON!

Chelsea should focus on finishing in the top four, with that defence and midfield including missing Reece James. There's no comeback story happening tonight for them.

If Arsenal don't go through tonight, it will be a major disappointment. Will it get them down? No, because they don't have time to. They'll just have to move on to the next.

I think they'll get it done tonight though.

Jude Bellingham has travelled with the Real Madrid team and is pitchside at Etihad Stadium.

England midfielder Bellingham has not featured since 1 February because of injury.

The atmosphere is building inside the Etihad, ten minutes before kick-off.

If Arsenal players take Max Dowman's lead, and run forward when they have the ball, success is highly likely. If they play turgid football again, they deserve the inevitable late goal against.

Maximiliano Araujo of Sporting Clube de Portugal celebrates scoring his team's fourth goal

That did not take long - Sporting complete the turnaround!

It is Maxi Araujo, who has been lively all evening, who scores the all-important goal for the home side - a low first-time effort that beats goalkeeper Nikita Haikin.

Have Bodo/Glimt got anything left in their tanks to find a way back? On the evidence so far, you would highly doubt it.

As a Chelsea fan, I think we'll give it a good go, but PSG have players that know how to spoil a party - they will only need one chance to end the tie, realistically.

What a turnaround we have witnessed in a rainy Lisbon today.

Sporting have hauled back a 3–0 first‑leg deficit and they have all the momentum.

Bodø/Glimt, however, are clinging on after being under siege for most of this encounter.

We have got 30 more minutes in this tie which is far from done.

The Blues blew PSG away with a 3-0 win at the MetLife Stadium in July to be crowned world champions.

A repeat of that scoreline tonight will see Liam Rosenior's side take it to extra-time...

Rubble: Chelsea are out of their depth in this competition. It’s glaringly obvious where the problem lies. Goalkeepers and defence simply not up to standard. Chalobah, Jorgensen and Fofana would not get into any of the teams in the top six.
