The latest Man Utd injury news and return dates ahead of the clash with AFC Bournemouth.

Manchester United are hopeful they will welcome a key player back from injury when they travel to face AFC Bournemouth in the Premier League on Friday night.

United took a huge step towards Champions League qualification as they defeated Aston Villa over the weekend, to give them a three-point lead over fourth-place with just eight matches left of the campaign. They will look to increase that lead even further when they travel to the Vitality Stadium in their final match before the March international break.

Michael Carrick could be handed a further boost for the run-in, with several players close to an injury return before the end of the season. One of those stars could be back by the end of the week, while others could be involved when club football returns next month. Here is all the latest injury news.

Mbeumo appeared to limp off after he was substituted in the weekend win over Aston Villa. There was no real sign of an injury post-match and he should be involved again on Friday night.

Martinez has missed four matches due to a minor injury issue, but it is hoped he could be involved against Bournemouth later this week. It might make the most sense for him to be named on the bench initially.

Dorgu has not featured since the victory over Arsenal at the start of the year. He is expected to return from his hamstring injury in the coming weeks and could play after the March international break.

De Ligt has been close to a return on several occasions but remains sidelined due to a back injury he suffered at the end of November. He is not expected back until next month at the earliest.
