West Ham are the team looking up as the others worry

**West Ham head into the final 8 games of the relegation battle as the team in the best form, by some distance.**

Although our Hammers still occupy a spot in the relegation zone, with us now level on points with Nottingham Forest, one behind Spurs and three off Leeds – the form of all clubs show West Ham are chasing.

In the last 10 games played, Nuno’s side sit 7th in the Premier League table, with Spurs rock bottom, Leeds 15th & Forest 14th.

If we look at the last 6 games played, Spurs again are bottom in 20th, Forest in 19th and Leeds in 15th. Whereas West Ham are in 11th spot having accumulated 9 points in those games.

It’s data that cannot be ignored or dismissed as we enter the business end of a seriously fierce relegation battle, that this weekend could well see another seismic shift in terms of who is more likely to go.

Nottingham Forest visit Spurs and it’s a cup final for both sides, where West Ham take on Aston Villa – which should we win, would see many feel far more confident of the Irons surviving.

Leeds host Brentford at Elland Road, which again for them is a must win. But their form of late shows they are going to have to seriously outperform as they have been of late.

It’s football, so twists and turns are expected and are likely. However, form is key in forecasting where things are going and at present, they are all pointing to Spurs being the team most likely to go come May.
