Leeds United striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin missed a penalty in the 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday.
Calvert-Lewin has not scored since early February, and his current form has raised concerns at Elland Road for a player who has been their talisman in the Premier League this season.

He has 10 goals in 27 Premier League appearances. However, his recent form is concerning and has contributed to increased fears of relegation at Elland Road this season.
Leeds inside Graham Smyth has finally put words to what a lot of Leeds fans have been thinking about the 28-year-old striker in recent weeks.
Graham Smyth raises concerns about Dominic Calvert-Lewin
The Yorkshire Evening Post journalist is worried that Leeds are missing gilt-edged opportunities in front of the goal, and Calvert-Lewin has been one of the key culprits.
He pointed out a great chance he missed in the defeat at home to Manchester City earlier this month and finally spoke about the penalty that he shot wide off the post in the 0-0 draw against Palace.
Calvert-Lewin is still getting into good positions to score, but Smyth is concerned that his finishing skills have deserted him at the wrong time of the season.
“Leeds are missing good chances right now”, Smyth said on the Inside Elland Road podcast.
“You look at Calvert-Lewin, he has to play for me because of everything he does and everything he brings to the team, he’s so vital, but his finishing has gone awry quite badly in recent weeks.
“Think about Man City when Aaronson puts one on an absolute plate for him, and he doesn’t hit the target and misses the goal and the penalty at Crystal Palace, those are two huge moments you have to take your chances.”
Leeds need his goals to survive
The Whites are just three points from the relegation zone, and have earned just one point from their last three Premier League games.
Leeds have reason to feel that better officiating would have fetched them more points. However, they are now in need of results to ease some of the pressure.

They need Dominic Calvert-Lewin to get back to form and start scoring goals again, as his lack of output has contributed to Leeds’ current set of results.
A fit and firing Calvert-Lewin in the last eight games of the season will almost certainly seal Premier League safety for Leeds in the upcoming weeks.
