Man Utd defender Lisandro Martinez remains a major doubt heading into Friday’s game against Bournemouth.
The Argentinian international picked up a calf injury after the draw versus West Ham last month, and he has subsequently missed the last four games.
Asked whether Martinez was making good progress in his recovery a couple of weeks ago, manager Michael Carrick gave a pessimistic update:
“He won’t be joining us [for training]. He’s not quite ready for that. We’ve got one or two we’re trying to work to get them back.”
Expected Return Date – Unknown
