Man United training absentees ahead of Bournemouth match
According to journalist Danyal Khan, Lisandro Martinez, Noussair Mazraoui and Matthijs de Ligt were all absent from training at Carrington on Wednesday morning.
With just over 48 hours to go until the match, it strongly suggests that the trio might be missing from Friday’s matchday squad.

Martinez was expected to return against Bournemouth, so his absence from training is a major blow for United and Carrick.
Matthijs de Ligt has become a long-term absentee for United after suffering several setbacks during his recovery phase. The Dutch defender is yet to play a match in 2026, with his last appearance coming back in November.
Mazraoui trained ahead of the Aston Villa victory, but it seems the Morocco international is still a doubt to face Bournemouth this week.

Mason Mount and Patrick Dorgu could return vs Bournemouth
It is not all negative injury news for United, though, as both Mason Mount and Patrick Dorgu could return to the pitch at the Vitality Stadium.
Mount was on the bench for United’s 3-1 win over Aston Villa last week, but he is yet to return to the pitch since featuring against Manchester City in January.
