Data is once again circulating which reveals the Serie A clubs that make the most money from their main shirt sponsorship.
The issue of shirt sponsors is something we have repeatedly written extensively about over on our Substack, and recent years chart a big increase in the amount that Milan have been able to earn from Emirates.
Milano leads the way
As Calciomercato.com report – also citing figures from La Gazzetta dello Sport – Milan and Inter are at the top of the pile when it comes to Serie A clubs who earn the most from their front of shirt sponsor. Both get €30m per year from Emirates and Bettson.sport respectively.
However, they also point out that Milan’s deal with Emirates will rise to €35m from 2026-27 onwards, which will hopefully be coupled with a return to Champions League football. So, the Rossoneri should seize top spot.
Juventus did one year without a shirt sponsor, then had the charity Save the Children who did not pay a fee. The club have returned Jeep, but through an internal Exor arrangement worth just €19m this season, rising to €23m next year. The previous Jeep deal was as high as €45m.
Napoli’s agreement with MSC Crociere is worth €9m this season and is also set to increase in the coming campaign. Roma have a new shirt sponsor in Eurobet.live, worth €8m this season and €13m from next.
The interesting aspect is the family-owned clubs with internal sponsorship arrangements, like Fiorentina who get €25m from Mediacom, a company connected to the late Rocco Commisso’s family, Sassuolo’s Mapei deal is worth €18m.
