As of right now, Courtois is considerded ‘doubtful’ for Sunday’s Madrid Derby against Atlético de Madrid.
If that ends up being the case, backup goalkeeper Andriy Lunin would defend Real Madrid’s goal against Simeone’s team in what will be a crucial LaLiga game for Los Blancos, who still need to erase Barcelona’s current four-point lead in the table.
