The attacking midfielder on loan from Albion fired one into the top corner as his side came from behind to win 2-1 at Burton.
Boss Leam Richardson was thrilled to see the ball go in after Doyle had looked disappointed in the previous match as they drew 2-2 at Plymouth.
Richardson said: “Kami’s was an unbelievable strike.
“We have been working very hard with him on that type of finish and if he can continue to emulate that he will be in a very good place.
“I thought the goal was good enough to win any game.
“Kami was very emotional after Saturday because he puts a lot into it.
“We have had many conversations, and he was very vulnerable after the game because it means so much to him.
“For a loan player to be like that, it is unbelievable. For a loan player to wear the Reading badge and be that emotional, it was unbelievable."
Doyle was previously on loan at Exeter and Crawley.
