Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall says he didn't realise how good one Everton player was until he joined

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has admitted he didn’t quite realise how technical Michael Keane was until he joined last summer.

Michael Keane has enjoyed a superb season for Everton, having filled in for Jarrad Branthwaite for most of it.

Does Michael Keane deserve a new contract at Everton? 😬

He is currently set to become a free agent in the summer… 👋

Keane is showing the form that earned him a £30m move to the Toffees back in 2017.

That said, Dewsbury-Hall has recently waxed lyrical about the 33-year-old in a Question and Answer segment on Everton’s Reddit.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall says Michael Keane’s technique is ‘unbelievable’

Dewsbury-Hall explained that Keane has ‘unbelievable’ technique and is actually one of the best strikers of a ball in the squad.

“You know what? Michael Keane’s technique is unbelievable,” the Toffees midfielder stated.

“I probably didn’t realise until I got here how clean he is at striking a ball. He’s such a good finisher, both feet as well.

“His left foot’s powerful, but his right foot, he’s got some serious technique. So, to be fair, I actually probably would say Michael Keane because he scored some great goals as well.

“I remember the one he scored against Tottenham at Goodison Park, great finish.”

Everton have a decision to make on Keane over the next few months, as his contract is due to expire in the summer.

Toffees fans are split on whether Keane should stay, with some preferring to sign a younger replacement.

John Stones has been mooted as a possible replacement, so it seems Moyes wants to move forward with an experienced squad anyway.
