Leeds United have now emerged as potential suitors for a "brilliant" Championship player, but there could be competition from Premier League rivals Sunderland.
Leeds making plans for the summer amid relegation battle
Leeds showed a lot of heart by grinding out a 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace at the weekend, considering they played the majority of the game with ten men, but the draw means they are still very much involved in the relegation battle.
Indeed, the Whites remain just three points above the bottom three, and they haven't been able to be so reliant on Dominic Calvert-Lewin over the past couple of months, with the Englishman scoring just one goal in his last eight Premier League matches.
With Calvert-Lewin's purple patch coming to an end, there have been suggestions Daniel Farke & co are now looking to replace the centre-forward in the summer, although he has insisted nothing has changed mentality-wise.
The former Everton man said: "I also know that when my chances come, I have to be clinical, I have to take them and in that [winter scoring run] I was extremely clinical.
"And then it’s followed by more of a difficult patch where chances are few and far between, and you still have to continue to play with that same belief that you’re going to go on another run or the next chance is going to go in. It’s part of the mental task of when you’re a number nine."

Not only is bringing in a new centre-forward on the to-do list, but the Whites also have their eye on a Championship winger, who has been in red-hot form in recent weeks...
Leeds enter race to sign "brilliant" winger
According to a report from Sports Boom, Leeds have now burst into the race to sign Millwall winger Femi Azeez, alongside Premier League rivals Crystal Palace, Brighton, Everton and Sunderland.
Azeez is expected to make the step-up to the Premier League ahead of next season, one way or another, with his current side sitting fourth in the Championship as things stand.
Millwall are just two points off the automatic promotion places, and the 24-year-old has been paramount to their success, amassing a combined nine goals and assists in his last 12 matches.
Journalist Josh Bunting also made sure to highlight the Englishman's importance to Alex Neil's side back in November.
Azeez's performances in the Championship demonstrate he is ready to play at a higher level, and Leeds should make a move this summer, but winning the race could be dependent on them avoiding the drop, with a whole host of rival Premier League clubs in the race.
