Man United are allowing Casemiro to leave in the summer, so he will need replacing.

Man United are set to allow midfielder Casemiro to leave in the summer transfer window, even though he has been a key player under both Ruben Amorim and Michael Carrick this season.

However, as it looks like they will need to replace Casemiro, United are drawing up a shortlist of potential replacements, and there are three key names to keep an eye on.

Man United’s 3 Casemiro replacements

It is understood that Forest is demanding £100m for Anderson’s signature, which is a hefty price for any midfielder. However, the 22-year-old has shown that he can perform well in the Premier League and at the international level.

The only drawback for Anderson is that rivals Man City are also interested in signing him as their replacement for Rodri, so it could be tough for Man United to complete a deal.

They placed a £100m plus price tag on him, much like when they sold Moises Caicedo to Chelsea, and so United backed out. However, it is understood that the Red Devils remain interested in Baleba, and they could make a move for him this summer.

Seeing as the 21-year-old has struggled for form a bit more this season, his price may have dropped slightly, but even so, United should expect to fork out a lot of money if they want to land the Brighton star.

Tonali was subject to a lot of transfer talk in January, as his agent was understood to be ‘offering’ him to top clubs such as Arsenal and Chelsea. Man United were also named as keen, and since then, rumours of a Tonali to Old Trafford move have been slowly growing.

It is understood that the Italian midfielder will want Champions League football next season, and with Newcastle currently in ninth place, it looks like he may have to move elsewhere to get it.

Man United are currently third, and looking on course for a top five spot, so Tonali to Old Trafford could become more and more likely as we get closer to the summer. It is understood that he would be an expensive acquisition as Newcastle don’t want to sell him, but if he requests a move for Champions League football, a deal is very possible.
