We went out of the UEFA Champions League fighting with 3-2 win on the night, but a 7-5 aggregate defeat against Atletico Madrid in the Round of 16 on Wednesday evening.
Facing a three-goal deficit from the first leg, we started brightly and opened the scoring on 30 minutes when Randal Kolo Muani headed home from Mathys Tel's cross.
Julian Alvarez levelled it up two minutes into the second half but then our best spell - Xavi pinged home from 25 yards and visiting goalkeeper Juan Musso twice denied Pedro Porro.
Unfortunately, Atleti struck next for 2-2 on the night, 7-4 on aggregate but we had the final word in added time when Xavi was upended in the box and tucked away the penalty for the 3-2 win.
