Real Madrid midfield duo Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni are on Manchester United’s transfer radar ahead of the summer window.
Ineos are scouring the market for young, but high-profile midfielders who can arrive at Old Trafford and fill the void left by Casemiro.
Casemiro has announced he is leaving Manchester United at the end of the season when his contract expires, and the Brazilian is enjoying an incredible swansong season with seven goals in the Premier League.
United have been linked to Camavinga and Tchouameni as midfield options, and the Real Madrid duo have the chance to follow the pathway that Casemiro took when he left Real Madrid.

Casemiro joined Man Utd as a Champions League winner
Casemiro joined Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo as a trio of Madrid legends who made the move to Old Trafford in quick succession.
They brought experience and a winning culture to United, with Casemiro personally winning five Champions League titles during his time in Spain.
Casemiro’s final Champions League trophy came in the 2021/22 season, just weeks before he made his £60m move to Manchester. His European heroics in the campaign prior only added to the excitement of his signing.

Madrid are in pursuit of another Champions League trophy this season and Camavinga and Tchouameni both played a part in their resounding 5-1 aggregate victory over Manchester City.
Camavinga already has two Champions League trophies to his name, while Tchouameni has one. If they go on to win another European title this season, they could have the same impact as Casemiro if they make a summer move to Old Trafford.

Replacing Casemiro is daunting, but Camavinga and Tchouameni are exciting
The idea of replacing Casemiro is a daunting one for United, because Ineos need to not only replace his goals and on-pitch impact, but his leadership and winning mentality are priceless.
United need to bring in players who have a similar mentality, so shopping from Real Madrid is certainly not a bad idea.

Varane and Casemiro went on to become cult heroes at Old Trafford after making the move from the Bernabeu, and hopefully that shows the likes of Camavinga and Tchouameni that they can follow a similar blueprint.
When Casemiro leaves, the only players in the United squad who have experience of winning the Champions League are Mason Mount and Joshua Zirkzee.
