No. Away goals were a long-time staple of UEFA knockout football, but were removed ahead of the 2021/22 season. Currently there are no plans for a return.
If a UEFA Conference League tie is level on aggregate after the two legs \[each 90 minutes\], 30 minutes of extra-time will be played.
#### **What happens if the tie is still level after extra-time?**
A penalty shootout will take place if the score on aggregate is level following the 120 minutes on the night.
Normal rules are in use, with the team leading after five kicks each progressing. If it's level after five kicks from each team, sudden death rules apply.
#### **Who will the winning team face?**
The winner of this tie will meet either Fiorentina or Raków Częstochowa in the quarter-final stage, once again playing over two legs. Fiorentina have the advantage on aggregate after a 2-1 win last week in Italy.
Those ties will be played on Thursday, 9th April and Thursday, 16th April. The winners of that tie will go on to face either Shakhtar Donetsk, Lech Poznan, AZ Alkmaar or Sparta Prague.
