Borussia Dortmund are reportedly keen to sign Jadon Sancho for a third time following his loan spell at Aston Villa.
The winger’s contract at Manchester United is set to expire this summer, where he will then become a free agent.
Sancho joined Villa in September, on deadline day, and has made a total of 29 appearances under Unai Emery across all competitions.
The 25-year-old, however, has only scored one goal for Villa, which came against Fenerbahce in January in the Europa League league phase.
Ahead of the summer window, The Times have claimed that Dortmund are interested in Sancho, and are confident of persuading him to return when his United contract expires.
Last month, Emery was asked about the possibility of bringing Sancho back to Villa Park on a free.
“He will need another contract, and maybe it could be here,” Emery said. “If he plays his best football, we will want him. But other teams could also be interested in him.
"This is football, and each match is important for every player’s and the club’s future, and for how we can achieve our objectives.”
