Goals have been a big problem for Leeds United this season. Despite the club spending over £100 million in the summer, that problem has not been solved.
The Whites spent just £18 million on the attack, signing Noah Okafor on a permanent deal. Lukas Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin arrived on free transfers. Fans had their reservations when a fraction of the budget was spent on attacking options.

Nmecha and Calvert-Lewin slowly proved themselves as suitable options at Premier League level as the season progressed. The duo have contributed 16 goals in all competitions this season, and are the top two scorers for the club this campaign.
Leeds United concerned about Dominic Calvert-Lewin and attacking options
Even with the club having added two strikers in the summer, the 49ers went out in January to add another. Leeds United were linked with Jorgen Strand Larsen, but were priced out of a move eventually. The club tabled a bid that was rejected and had concrete interest in adding the Norwegian but a move never materialized.
According to TEAMtalk, Leeds are seriously considering another striker at the end of the season. Though the club have faith in Dominic Calvert-Lewin, the concern is about his current form and how the team needs an option that can directly compete with the England striker.
The report adds that if the Whites do manage to stay in the Premier League past this season, their priority will be a new center forward in the summer. And they are prepared to spend big to land their potential target.

Leeds are right in making another center forward a priority in the upcoming transfer window, but it may be too late. Their best chance to add to this attack was in January, but they missed out on Jorgen Strand Larsen.
Goals are very important in the Premier League, as seen when Dominic Calvert-Lewin was firing on all cylinders. But his drought has coincided with the poor form of the team. And now, Leeds could be in trouble – finding goals when you managed just one in your last four league games is a big task. Hopefully, the club can survive and make it to the summer window, and correct their mistake.
