Manchester United are reportedly in 'advanced talks' to sign Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes ahead of the summer transfer window.
GIVEMESPORT sources have revealed that Man United will look to bring in two new midfielders at the end of the season, when Casemiro will leave Old Trafford when his contract expires.
The Red Devils have their eyes on a number of England-based midfielders, with Premier League experience one of the key traits United's recruitment team are looking for.
The club's summer transfer budget should be significantly boosted should they qualify for next season's Champions League, which they are currently on course to do under caretaker manager Michael Carrick.
Not only could it allow United to target more expensive players, but they would be a more attractive proposition for targets who want to be playing in Europe's elite club competition.

According to Reuters journalist Fernando Kallas, who broke Bruno Guimaraes' move from Lyon to Newcastle, United are in serious talks to bring the 29-year-old to Old Trafford in a deal worth around €80m (£69m).
While there has been some whispers around the Brazil international and the Red Devils in recent months and he has been recommended to the club by the outgoing Casemiro, the Premier League high-flyers have been more heavily linked with other Premier League midfielders.
Indeed, according to GIVEMESPORT sources, United have the likes of Nottingham Forest's Elliot Anderson, Crystal Palace's Adam Wharton and Brighton and Hove Albion's Carlos Baleba on their transfer shortlist.
United 'Seriously Working' to Sign Sandro Tonali

Guimaraes isn't the only Newcastle midfielder that United have eyes on, with GMS sources revealing that Sandro Tonali is also a prominent name in the mind of United's recruitment team.
It was reported by reliable journalist Christopher Michel on Wednesday that United are seriously working on a move for the Italy international, who is said to be keen on making the switch to Old Trafford this summer.
Tonali could cost more than the reported £69m fee floated for the Guimaraes deal however, with some suggestions that Newcastle could value him at £100m if they are to sanction a summer sale.
Tonali a Better Signing Than Bruno Guimaraes

While Bruno Guimaraes' influence and quality at Newcastle should not be underestimated, one negative for him is the fact he turns 29 years of age this year.
The Brazilian would bring leadership and would be a player who would immediately raise the level of the starting XI, but financially there would be concerns over his resale value later down the line.
Meanwhile, Tonali has established himself as an impressive all-round midfielder at St James' Park, with Paul Scholes claiming in October that the Italian is the 'best midfielder in the Premier League', above Declan Rice.
Scholes clearly knows what he's talking about when it comes to central midfielders, and one more big bonus for Tonali is that he is 25 years of age, and therefore a similar age to two of the club's key signings last summer in Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha.
While Tonali could end up costing more than Guimaraes, he is the smarter investment for INEOS and Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
