Manchester United let the attacker head out the exit door on a temporary basis last summer

According to the Daily Mail, Barcelona will ask to ‘extend’ Marcus Rashford’s loan from Manchester United for another season to avoid having to pay his £26million fee. The La Liga giants swooped to land the attacker on a temporary basis last summer. He has since provided them with more competition and depth at the top end of the pitch.

He said last year: "I'm enjoying this football club and I think for anybody who loves football, Barcelona is one of the key clubs in the history of the game. For a player it is an honour. The main focus is to win football matches, this is why I joined this club, and it's what the club demands,"
