Adam Berry scores wonder goal in third game at new club after leaving Nottingham Forest

Adam Berry left Nottingham Forest to join Al-Kholood last month, and the youngster is busy making quite the impression.

Berry made the move to Saudi Arabia after failing to get a crack with the Forest first-team, and the opportunity looks like a good one for the youngster.

The talented attacker signed for Forest from Manchester United and spent his time in the academy playing in a number of different positions across the final third.

Now, he’s busy trying to prove his worth to his new club, and he has made quite the impact in his most recent outing.

Adam Berry scores stunning goal vs Al-Ittihad

Berry was thrust into the action as a substitute as Al-Kholood won in dramatic fashion against Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Arabia Cup semi-final.

It was the former Forest youngster who sent the game into a penalty shootout, with his stunning long-range effort coming just six minutes after he entered the fray.

Berry might have been forgiven for feeling a little bit starstruck as he came on the pitch, with Moussa Diaby, Fabinho and Steven Bergwijn all playing in the match for the opposition.

MORE FOREST STORIES

Forest transfer target Youssef En-Nesyri also played in the game, and this is the sort of company that Berry will be rubbing shoulders with in Saudi Arabia.

Berry will look back on his time at Forest with some fondness, although he will have been disappointed not to get a crack at the senior ranks.

The 20-year-old could find his way back to England later in his career, but it would appear that he’s going to get ample opportunities under Des Buckingham in Saudi Arabia.

Now, he will have an immediate chance to win some silverware too…
