Leeds United have another chance to push themselves closer to safety this weekend. After a promising result against Crystal Palace, Daniel Farke’s men have a big task ahead of them.
This time around, Leeds are back home when they face Brentford this weekend. After picking up just one point in their last three games, the Whites have a massive chance to get back on track.

Ahead of the game, the team received some major injury news. Noah Okafor, who has been out since the FA Cup game against Birmingham, was apparently ruled out of the international break by his first team coach.
“I had planned to have him in the squad, unfortunately he’s injured now. He’s making good progress, we’re in contact. We also spoke recently on the phone about him staying focused,” Yakin said.

Leeds United have been struggling in attack in recent games, having managed just one goal in their last four league games. Dominic Calvert-Lewin is on a goal drought, and the team cannot seem to finish their chances.
But, the Whites could receive a huge boost this weekend. Daniel Farke has confirmed that Okafor will be available when the team faces Brentford on Saturday.
”[He’s] Better. Back in team training since the beginning of the week. Obviously he’s been out several weeks, the question is how many minutes he’s got in the tank, but he’s available.”
The winger returning would provide a fresh injection of attacking quality into the team for the upcoming games.

Noah Okafor’s return will be a huge boost
Leeds United have missed the presence of Noah Okafor in their team. The winger provides something different from their current attacking options. He is more direct and aggressive when it comes to taking on players with the ball.
When he is in the lineup, he provides the perfect complimentary piece alongside Calvert-Lewin or Nmecha. Playing in that central role has allowed him to get in behind defenders more often. Okafor was on a good run before he got injured, and maybe his return to the team will spark something in their final games of the season.
