Leeds United have had worries over their summer signing Lucas Perri.
So much so that Daniel Farke had to revert to using back-up keeper Karl Darlow earlier in the season, as his first-choice shot-stopper was out of form.
Some suggested that the Whites needed to dip back into the transfer market this winter to replace the Brazilian, but spending issues in LS11 are already known.
The 49ers were willing to stretch their PSR limits in the chase for Jorgen Strand Larsen, but clearly felt like the goalkeeping area wasn’t worth the risk, considering the investment already made with Perri.
Farke may want a new goalkeeper this summer, but it seems like that won’t be the case, even if Leeds manage to stay in the Premier League.

Lucas Perri will not be sold by Leeds United this summer
Perri has been slammed for poor performances this season, and as a result, fans have asked for an upgrade to be signed.
As highlighted by Sofascore below, his average 6.59 match rating is worse than Leeds’ overall 6.74 score for the Premier League this campaign.

According to Leeds Live, there is “no guarantee” that the board will look to bring in a new goalkeeper any time soon, as Farke may have to stay patient with what he currently has.
They also confirmed that the Whites will not sell Perri, as his sale would most likely make for a loss on the PSR readings, which are already tight as it is.
The 28-year-old has had a slight spike in his individual displays recently, and many will be hoping that he can keep it up.
What does this mean for Karl Darlow?
If Leeds were able to sell Perri, or at least recoup the money they spent on him, then of course, they’d go back in the market for a new keeper.
But that’s not the case, and as it stands, the importance of keeping Darlow match fit has only been increased.

Last campaign, he only made 10 appearances in all competitions
The Englishman has seen game time that even he probably didn’t expect coming into the season.
But given that the Whites currently don’t have plans to bring a new keeper in, Farke must keep Darlow’s match sharpness up where he can.
If Perri were to get injured again, Darlow may be the only man to call on next season, and at his age of 35, that may worry some.
