Three Manchester United players, including Bruno Fernandes, have reportedly urged the club to sign Andre from relegation-bound Wolverhampton Wanderers. With the Midlands club looking pretty much certain to be relegated, Andre is reportedly likely to be available this summer.
As per The Sun, Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro and Matheus Cunha have all recommended the Red Devils to take the opportunity to sign Andre. Cunha spent the last season alongside the Brazilian midfielder at the Molineux and reportedly holds him in high regard.
Cunha and Andre have shared the pitch on 34 occasions alongside each other for Wolves and Brazil, respectively. Andre has also played alongside Casemiro on one occasion for Brazil.
If Manchester United register their interest in Andre, they are most likely to face competition from several clubs. Aged only 24, the Brazilian already boasts Premier League experience as well as international experience.
Andre is predominantly a defensive midfielder, blessed with plenty of tenacity and also has solid technical attributes. He is also a fantastic tackler, having averaged 2.4 tackles per game this season.
Casemiro has already announced his decision to leave Manchester United at the end of the season, with his contract expiring. Andre could prove to be a solid replacement for his compatriot at Old Trafford.
