Everton have now earmarked Pavel Sulc as a priority target for the summer transfer window.

Everton can land versatile ‘shadow striker’ in Pavel Sulc
Sportsboom describe Sulc as a ‘shadow striker’ – who thrives when timing his arrivals into the box to finish off chances, similarly to how Frank Lampard used to operate.
The Czech Republic international can boast 14 goals and ten assists in 35 appearances across all competitions so far this season, an excellent return for a player considered to be an attacking midfielder by trade.
Whilst primarily operating as either a striker or just behind the frontman, Sulc also has experience of playing on the right flank – so he could be viewed as an upgrade on Dwight McNeil and Tyler Dibling if Moyes does not plan to use him centrally.
McNeil is expected to depart the Hill Dickinson Stadium this summer anyway, so the 25-year-old may well be coming in to replace the Englishman if Everton can strike an agreement with Lyon.

Sportsboom state that Lyon ideally want to keep Sulc, but considering the French giants are in need of cash and could do with a sale, a price tag of €35m (£30m) has been put on his head.
The man born in Karlovy Vary has a contract with Lyon running until July 2029 – which he signed following a €7.5m (£6.5m) move from Viktoria Plzen in August 2025.
After just one campaign with the Ligue 1 outfit, Sulc – who could replace Charly Alcaraz – may already be on the move this summer as Everton show strong interest.
