One name now reportedly on their radar is 24-year-old Argentine defender Kevin Lomónaco, who currently plays for Club Atlético Independiente and is attracting attention from across Europe.

According to Boca Noticias, West Ham are among several clubs keeping a close eye on Lomónaco, with Crystal Palace, Sevilla, VfL Wolfsburg, and even Boca Juniors monitoring his progress.
Interest from the Hammers isn’t new, as they were linked with him last year, and the 24-year-old has continued to impress in the Argentine top flight.
While Atlético Mineiro and Panathinaikos had previously tried to secure his signature, no deal was reached.
Lomónaco now has a €13.1 million release clause in his contract, which runs until December 2028, making him a realistic summer target for London clubs.
