Mike Tullberg praises Forest striker Lorenzo Lucca
Surprisingly, it was Lucca who came in for some praise from the beaten head coach after his performance during the 120 minutes he spent on the pitch.
Lucca wasn’t even in the squad for the game against Fulham on Sunday, and he was determined to prove a point to Vitor Pereira during the contest.
Tullberg said: “Forest did amazing first half to be honest, you see the quality they have to bring in. Lucca up front, I don’t think any Danish team would ever get a player like that so we have to give the opposition a lot of credit. We were not good.”

The Italian striker isn’t great in possession by any means, but last night against Midtjylland, he was exceptional at holding the ball up.
However, with Taiwo Awoniyi doing well in last weekend’s Premier League clash with Fulham, Lucca might be fighting a losing battle for opportunities domestically.

Lucca needs minutes to shake off the ring rust, and this outing will have done the player signed from Napoli the world of good.
It’s quite surprising that Tullberg has cherry-picked Lucca out of every single Forest player, but it’s positive that his performance didn’t completely slip under the radar in Denmark.
