West Ham in shock Thailand shirt deal talks as bold sponsorship plan emerges

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is in discussions with West Ham on a potential partnership to promote Thai tourism, a senior TAT official has claimed.

On 17 March, Nithee Seeprae, TAT deputy governor for marketing communications, posted on Facebook that the agency had held talks with the Hammers about possible activities for the 2026/27 season deal. He shared an image of West Ham’s home shirt featuring the “Amazing Thailand” logo.

Nithee said he visited the club at London Stadium to meet Nathan Thompson, West Ham’s executive director for commercial, marketing, digital and content, and an unnamed member of the club’s board.

The discussions explored potential promotional channels through the club’s platforms, including displaying the “Amazing Thailand” logo on the front of the men’s first-team kit for the 2026/27 season, as well as exposure via LED screens and static signage around the London stadium.

BoyleSports is West Ham United’s current front-of-shirt sponsor for the 2025/26 season, replacing Betway. The Irish bookmaker signed a multi-year partnership, with the initial shirt sponsorship set for one season in a deal reported to be worth approximately £12 million, acting as the club’s principal partner. They are thought to have agreed to move to be West Ham’s sleeve sponsor next season after a voluntary front of shirt gambling ban comes into effect.
