Jadon Sancho is open to a third spell at Borussia Dortmund as the German side explore a deal to re-sign the winger.
Sancho will become a free agent in the summer when his contract at Manchester United expires. The Red Devils have no plans to trigger the optional one-year extension following a disappointing spell at Old Trafford.
Sancho has spent the past two-and-a-half seasons out on loan. He returned to Dortmund for a second stint in 2023-24, before a season-long spell at Chelsea last season.
This season, Sancho is on loan at Aston Villa, where heโs struggled to make the desired impact.
Dortmund are now exploring a deal to re-sign the former favourite, according to journalist Ben Jacobs. Any deal would require Sancho to take a significant pay cut, though that is not currently a blocker to the transfer.
Sancho produced the best football of his career during his first spell at Dortmund between 2017 and 2021.
Heโs produced 120 goals and assists in 153 games for Dortmund over two stints at the Westfalenstadion and was twice named in the Bundesliga Team of the Season.
