The striker has enjoyed a sustained run in the side since making his return from a long injury layoff in January, and played 90 minutes of the 1-1 draw at Liverpool last weekend.

However, Solanke was left out of the squad to face Atletico Madrid in midweek due to “a problem with his hip”, a game Spurs won 3-2 to build momentum ahead of Sunday’s showdown.

Spurs head coach Igor Tudor said at the time that he expected Solanke to be fit to face Forst, but the striker was absent from open training on Friday morning.

Tudor has now revealed that Solanke is due to train with his team-mates on Saturday, in the hope that he can face Forest the following day.

“Dom didn't train, but tomorrow he will train,” Tudor told reporters on Friday. “He will be available. I think he will be OK.”
