The Ligue 1 game between second-placed RC Lens and leaders PSG is set to go ahead as planned on Saturday 11th April, according to **[RMC Sport.](https://rmcsport.bfmtv.com/replay-emissions/after-foot/podcast/)** The Artois side was reportedly [open to postpone their match against Luis Enrique’s _Les Parisiens_](https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2026/lens-open-to-postponement-to-aid-psgs-liverpool-preparations/), which would have greatly helped the latter considering that the Lens away game is sandwiched between their Champions League quarter-finals ties against Liverpool FC.
In the RO16 round, PSG had the weekend off between their games against Chelsea, whereas the Blues had to host Newcastle United in the Premier League. Although this time, it seems, Liverpool and PSG will both be tasked to play three games in six days.
According to **RMC Sport** pundit Daniel Riolo, Lens would have agreed to move their Ligue 1 game against PSG if it meant sense for Pierre Sage’s _Sang et Or,_ but it does not. “_The game will 100% be held on Saturday 11th April at 5:15 CET._“
Riolo went on to explain that both Lens and PSG are out of slots in their respective fixtures list to move the game. “_Lens are still in the Coupe de France, and there is no interest for them to postpone the PSG game.”_ Lens are indeed set to host Toulouse in the Coupe de France semi-finals on the 21st April.
