What Ousmane Dembele told a smirking Wesley Fofana after Chelsea’s loss to PSG

Many Chelsea supporters weren’t too happy after seeing Wesley Fofana’s antics at full-time in the wake of the PSG loss, but things have now been cleared up.

The season has taken a challenging turn for Wesley Fofana, who has faced intense scrutiny following a string of defensive lapses at Chelsea. He initially showed signs of a strong comeback after injury, but his recent form has dipped at a critical point in the Blues’ campaign.

Critics, including Jamie Redknapp, have highlighted a perceived lack of recovery pace and focus, particularly after a difficult outing against Newcastle, where he was blamed for being lazy.

This led to him being dropped from the second leg against Paris Saint-Germain.

However, there was still controversy at full-time after Fofana was spotted smirking and smiling with his French teammate Ousmane Dembele.

Ousmane Dembele and Wesley Fofana share African Cup of Nations verdict

During the fallout of Chelsea’s loss to Paris Saint-Germain, as mentioned above, an exchange between Wesley Fofana and PSG star Ousmane Dembele went viral.

Until now, nobody knew what the pair were talking about, but it has now been shared by Canal+ (as per MegaPSG_).

Dembele was heard telling Fofana: “Honestly, for that kind of craziness, there’s only the CAN, bro!”

The comment, a nod to the news that came out surrounding the African Cup of Nations after the game, where Mamadou Sarr and Senegal were stripped of their title.

Of course, it’s never nice to see Fofana smirking after such a demoralising loss, but at least it wasn’t anything negative being said about Chelsea.
