Liverpool team news ahead of the Premier League clash against Brighton & Hove Albion at the AMEX Stadium.

Liverpool have a chance to bolster their Champions League qualification hopes when they travel to Brighton.

The Reds can move into fourth spot, leapfrogging Aston Villa and go four points ahead of Chelsea in the Premier League table.

After a resounding 4-0 win over Galatasaray in the Champions League to move into the quarter-finals, Arne Slot will hope his side can build momentum. However, like the majority of the season, he will have depleted options to face the Seagulls at the AMEX Stadium today (12.30 GMT).

Ahead of the game, here’s a look at who is set to miss out for the Reds and who is doubtful.

Mo Salah - out

The Liverpool winger sustained a muscle injury against Galatasaray, with Salah asking to be substituted. The Reds will hope he is back for the FA Cup quarter-final against Manchester City.

Alexander Isak - out

The £125 million British record signing is still recovering from a broken leg but he is getting closer, having been spotted running at the AXA Training Centre earlier this week.

Wataru Endo - out

The Japan international is still rehabbing an ankle problem. Endo will hope he can get back for the World Cup.

Conor Bradley - out

The right-back will not play again this season because of a knee problem.

Giovanni Leoni - out

The Italian has been unavailable for six months after rupturing his ACL on his Liverpool debut.

Jayden Danns - out

The well-regarded striker made a return from a serious hamstring for the under-21s against Manchester City earlier this week. However, Danns suffered a recurrence of his issue and was substituted in the 29th minute.

Stefan Bajcetic - out

The midfielder hasn’t made a single appearance all season because of a hamstring problem.

Alisson Becker - out

The Brazilian FA released a statement that the goalkeeper had pulled out of their squad ahead of this month’s international. It said: “Goalkeeper Hugo Souza was called up this Friday (20) by coach Carlo Ancelotti for the friendlies of the next FIFA Date, against France (26) and Croatia (31), in Boston and Orlando, respectively. Hugo Souza will replace Alisson of Liverpool, who is injured.” Alisson has been ruled out of the Brighton clash.

Joe Gomez - doubt

The defender was on the bench against Galatasaray having missed training. However, Slot admitted that there is a chance Gomez does not feature on the south coast.
