Manchester United twice lead against Bournemouth but had to hold on for a point with ten-men
Playing before their rivals this weekend in the battle for Champions League qualification, Man United were presented with an opportunity to move nine points clear of Chelsea before their visit to Everton on Saturday.
Michael Carrickās side had the better of the chances in the first half, but found Djordje Petrovic in inspired form in between the posts.
The Bournemouth goalkeeper saved well from Amad Diallo and Matheus Cunha before sprinting across his box and sticking out a boot to prevent a Bruno Fernandes volley from crossing the line.
