West Ham Survival Watch: All Eyes on Leeds United as Hammers Forced to Wait

There’s only one game of real interest to West Ham’s relegation battle today and that kicks off at 8pm.

Daniel Farke’s [Leeds United](https://www.claretandhugh.info/leeds-united-bio/) take on Brentford at Elland Road under the lights and, despite their recent patchy form, remain favourites. The Yorkshire club have lost their last two Premier League games at home but make no mistake about it, they’ll prove a big test for Keith Andrews’ Bees.

That said, Brentford are in the European places and have no other distractions. A win for Leeds would be huge and take them six points ahead of West Ham and Nottingham Forest. But a loss or a draw would see them remain in trouble.

Big weekend ahead

-----------------

The big matches happen tomorrow of course, with our own trip to Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest travelling to Tottenham, with both teams having played in Europe this week.

It’s going to be a fascinating weekend, albeit one with more than a few squeaky bums for all the teams involved.
