Liverpool travel to Brighton in the Premier League, but Mo Salah and Alisson aren’t among the squad due to injuries sustained against Galatasaray.
Salah and Alisson are the latest names to be added to Liverpool’s injury list, with both being declared unavailable ahead of an international break, which will be used for recovery.

It isn’t very often Salah misses games, but he will be absent at the Amex Stadium due to a muscle injury picked up against Galatasaray.
Slot explained: “The good thing for Liverpool and for us is that we go to an international break. The bad thing for Egypt is that he can’t go there.
“We are hoping also with what Mo has shown in the past that he can recover faster than other players might in similar situations because he takes such good care of his body.
“History has shown that he can be earlier back than some others, but it’s only two weeks when we go again so let’s hope in that period of time he can be back.”
Alisson‘s withdrawal from the Brazil squad and subsequent confirmation of not being in the Reds’ squad for Saturday was reported later on Friday, with LFC not prepared to the take the risk with their No.1 goalkeeper.
Liverpool’s first game back after the international break is away at Man City in the FA Cup on April 4, a match for which he is currently a doubt.
Joe Gomez won’t be able to start vs. Brighton
Joe Gomez is the subject of Liverpool’s other fitness news, with Slot asked whether he is able to play against Brighton, having sat on the bench in midweek.
“Joe was on the bench but he wasn’t able to come in,” the head coach said.

“We tried to postpone it as far as we could. He already told me before the start of the game he didn’t feel good. I said, ‘OK, let’s wait to half-time [and] a miracle can happen – we might need you in extra-time.’
“He might be available tomorrow but definitely not to start.”
