What happened in the Premier League clash between Bournemouth vs Man Utd at the Vitality Stadium?

Bournemouth hosted Man Utd at the Vitality on Friday and the Cherries and the Red Devils played out an entertaining first half, despite the 0-0 half-time scoreline.

Matheus Cunha won a penalty for the Red Devils in the second half after he was brought down by Alex Jimenez and Bruno Fernandes stepped up for the spot-kick.

Bruno Fernandes stuttered his run-up before he sent Djordje Petrovic the wrong way and fired the ball into the back of the Bournemouth net to put United 1-0 up.

Ryan Christie cancelled out Fernandes’ opener in the 67th minute, but United’s advantage over Bournemouth was restored after a huge deflection from James Hill.

United would be reduced to 10 men after Harry Maguire was sent off and Bournemouth pulled themselves level once again after an Eli Junior Kroupi penalty.
