Liverpool team predicted to face Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League.
Liverpool have a chance to bolster their Champions League qualification hopes when they travel to Brighton & Hove Albion (12.30 GMT).
Victory for the Reds will see them leapfrog fourth-placed Aston Villa and go four points ahead of fifth-placed Chelsea in the Premier League table.
After a resounding 4-0 win over Galatasaray in the Champions League to move into the quarter-finals, Arne Slot will be desperate for his side to carry on the momentum. However, like the majority of the season, he will have depleted options to face the Seagulls at the AMEX Stadium today (12.30 GMT). Mo Salah has been ruled out while it has emerged that No.1 goalkeeper Alisson Becker has not travelled.
It means that Slot has limited choices and he will have to think carefully about his team, especially as some others had cramp at the end of the Galatasaray game.
Ahead of the Brighton clash, here’s a look at the Liverpool team that could face Brighton at the AMEX Stadium.
GK - Giorgi Mamardashvili
Alisson Becker has not travelled to the south coast so it means that Mamardashvili will deputise.
RB - Jeremie Frimpong
Not at his best against Galatasaray but his pace to thwart the pace of Brighton winger Yankuba Minteh will be important. In addition, Joe Gomez still might not be ready to start.
CB - Ibrahima Konate
Was solid against Galatasaray as he won so many of his duals.
CB - Virgil van Dijk
Will know the threat of Brighton and must keep Liverpool organised throughout to limit the visitors.
LB - Andy Robertson
Milos Kerkez was excellent against Galatasaray but his performance might have taken a lot out of him. It is why Robertson could come into the team for fresh legs.
CM - Ryan Gravenberch
Got on the goal sheet against Galatasaray but his protection of the defence will be even more important.
CM - Dominik Szoboszlai
Displayed how imperative it is that he operates in the midfielder rather than right-back against Galatasaray. His pressing and energy gives Liverpool so much and sets the tone.
CM - Curtis Jones
Did well when he came on as a right-back in the Galatasaray triumph. That could see him rewarded with a start in the league as Alexis Mac Allister has clocked a lot of minutes of late.
RW - Florian Wirtz
Dictated so much of the play against Galatasaray, especially in the second half. Suited to playing in a box midfield but he might have to fill in on the right flank, although he does have a good relationship with Frimpong.
ST - Hugo Ekitike
Was a handful against Gala with his dribbling ability and his goal will give him plenty of confidence.
LW - Cody Gakpo
Came off the bench against Galatasaray and the injury to Salah means he is likely to come back rather than Rio Ngumoha.
Woodman, Kerkez, Gomez, Mac Allister, Nyoni, Chiesa, Ngumoha, Morrison.
