Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes is in the midst of a world-class season, despite his advancing years.
With a goal against Bournemouth, Bruno Fernandes now boasts eight and 16 assists during his 28 Premier League games this season, which is a record nobody else can compete with.
Manchester United are very lucky to have the Portuguese midfielder, as he remains the club’s key player, which has been the case for years.
Fernandes has been cementing himself alongside club legends, with only a lack of trophies stopping him from being considered one of the best ever at the club.
But he still has time, with David May suggesting that he has years left at a top level.

David May explains why Bruno Fernandes is far from done at Manchester United
Speaking on MUTV, former United player David May explained that he sees Fernandes like Ryan Giggs, capable of playing for the Red Devils for years.
When asked about whether Fernandes can still play for the club beyond this season, May explained.

“He’s skinny as a rake, doesn’t carry any weight, just like Giggsy.
“He doesn’t get injured. He gets around the pitch.
“Three or four years easily.”
Fernandes doesn’t rely on his physicality to play; instead improving as he ages with his creativity, composure, and game IQ all still improving.
If Fernandes has three or four years left at the top, United should be looking to extend his deal rather than sell this summer.

MUTV pundits hail Bruno Fernandes
May wasn’t the only pundit on MUTV hailing Fernandes, as he was joined in doing so by Danny Webber and Sammy McIlroy.
Webber explained, “He has it all. He plays with a risk you need as a forward. You run with confidence that he will see you and find you.”
Following this, McIlroy added his own glowing review of Fernandes.
“I’ve never seen a player for years be so consistent as Bruno Fernandes. Ever since he came to the club.”
Fernandes is having the most creative season of his United career, and the fact he’s improving with age shows that Ineos cannot lose him this summer.
