**Rafael Leao carried out some tests on his adductor today and thankfully, as confirmed by the club, any lesions were ruled out.**
It was reported late last night that Leao would miss out on today’s game due to adductor discomfort. This has [**paved the way for Niclas Fullkrug**](https://sempremilan.com/gds-tests-torino-leao-fullkrug-opportunity) to get the chance from start, and the timing is far from ideal for the No.10 given what a turbulent week it has been.
In any case, as confirmed by Milan to the media (including us) earlier today, Leao carried out an MRI this morning and no lesions were seen. This means that the recovery time will be a lot shorter, as it could even be enough with just resting tonight.
Napoli are up after the break, more specifically on April 6, and everything suggests that Leao will be back in action then. While you could argue that he hasn’t been in the best of form lately, not having him against the Partenopei would have been a huge blow.
It remains to be seen how Fullkrug will perform in his absence tonight, especially since it’s such a big opportunity for the German to show what he really can do. So far, with just one goal, he hasn’t done anywhere near enough to earn a stay at the club.
