Liverpool have suffered their latest injury blow as Hugo Ekitike was forced off in the opening ten minutes against Brighton.
Ekitike was involved in a clash in the early exchanges of Saturday afternoon's Premier League match - coming out of the challenge holding his leg. The Frenchman attempted to play on, but went back down and shook his head as he was forced to be subbed.
Arne Slot replaced Ekitike with Curtis Jones as Liverpool were forced into an early reshuffle. And as the striker left the pitch, he appeared to emotional while heading down the tunnel at the Amex Stadium.
